CAPE ZUB LIGHTHOUSE

The Rt Zub lighthouse is located on the Lanterna peninsula, which is 13 km from Poreč and the same distance from Novigrad. The Lanterna peninsula lies between two bays, Tarska and Lunga. It was built in 1872.

LIGHTHOUSE SVETI NIKOLA

Near Poreč, on the western part of the island of Saint Nichola of Venice built a 15-meter-high lighthouse on the highest part of the island in 1403. At that time, it was the highest lighthouse on the eastern coast of the Adriatic and was visible from a great distance.
Through the centuries, the fire at the top of the lighthouse was lit thanks to the trees that grew on the islet, and in the 17th century, the fire was replaced by the light of a larger lantern.

FUNTANA

Funtana has been declared the most touristic place on the Adriatic. It is rich as a place with many beautiful and well-maintained campsites located along the coast.

ROVINJ

 SAINT IVAN LIGHTHOUSE ON THE OFFSHORE

It was built on the rock of the same name in front of Rovinj, and the local population also calls it La Lanterna. The most advanced islet of a small archipelago of 13 islands, 70 m long and 50 m wide. Built in 1853, under the leadership of the then Austro-Hungarian government.

PULA

PORER ISLAND

The islet of Porer, on which there is a lighthouse of the same name built in 1833, can be rented. It is so small that you can literally walk around it in just a few minutes, but it hides one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Adriatic.

 CAPE MARLER LIGHTHOUSE


Located 6 km from Ližnjan, due to strong sea currents and strong winter winds, it was built near several islets and rocks to ensure navigation safety.
From the very construction until 1970, it was always inhabited.

BRIJUNI

There are several groups of islands along the western Istrian coast, among which the most interesting, largest and most scattered is the Brijuna group of 14 islands and islets, the largest of which is Veliki Brijun. The total area of the Brijuni National Park is 3395 ha, of which the marine part accounts for 2651.7 ha, while the area of all the islands is 743.3 ha. The length of all island coasts is 46.82 km, and the length of the sea border is 22.93 km. In addition to the beautiful nature, the archipelago abounds with dinosaur footprints, and it was declared a national park in 1999, due to its exceptional value.

CAPE PENADA LIGHTHOUSE

It is located on the southernmost part of the cape of the island of Veli Brijun, one of the 14 Brijun islands that take your breath away with their beauty. 20 m from the sea, a 15 m high quadrangular stone tower and a building.
